Supporting others in breaking free from the suffering of diet culture and feeling joy in returning to an instinctive way of eating.

It’s not you, it’s the diet.

Welcome friends!

Hi there, I’m Rachel. Come, settle in and rest yourselves a while. If you’re anything like me then you’ve endured countless years of dieting chipping away at your self esteem, pocket and results, so you damn well deserve a cup of tea and a sit down.

I know that when you’ve gained weight and are feeling unhappy with yourself, the only option you feel you have is to embark on yet another diet. I’m not here to join the raging war on the diet industry, but I am keen to deliver the glorious news that life doesn’t need to be that way. There is another way to live and if I can get there, so can you.

After going through an arduous journey of equal starvation, bingeing and self discovery, I have finally found that losing weight doesn’t need to involve misery, obsessive food weighing, cutting out the things you love and missing out on life’s great moments.

I’m not stick thin, as I once thought I “should” be, but I’ve made peace with my body at a healthy size and discovered that life is for living and that if we focus on what makes us truly happy, on a deeper level, then health will surely follow. And yes, you can damn well still eat chocolate. (Cos you’d better believe I do.)

I ;love crouching in my garden with a bowl of salad.

I haven’t got life all figured out, but let’s be chums and I can share what I have learnt so far and we can finish the rest of the journey together.

Sign up to follow my blog journey and we can work through improving our knowledge of ourselves and the way our bodies want us to eat, breaking free from any limiting beliefs we may have about eating or our bodies and end the suffering of dieting for good. Huzzah!

The first post in the journey is here.

Live a life of joy.
